weber q200The Weber Q200 is a brilliant portable gas grill for your home or family picnic at the park. It has a decent 280-square-inch’s of cooking area and is powered by a 12,000-BTU stainless-steel burner. True to Weber fashion, this grill is very easy use with its push button ignition system and infinitely adjustable heat control.

Also incorporated is a durable high quality regulator ensuring consistent gas flow for years, perhaps decades to come. The Q200 uses porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates for excellent heat distribution and longevity. Cleaning is a also a breeze thanks to the removable drip tray underneath.

The Good:

  • Small and compact units packs a large cooking ares
  • Well engineered sturdy construction means this grill was last many years.
  • Excellent heat control
  • Excellent heat distribution, thanks to the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates

  • Anyone who wants a compact grill without the compact size cooking area
  • Anyone who has a budget under $200, but wants quality.
  • Anyone who wants a great grill that’s going to last.

The Bottom Line:

Overall the Weber Q200 performs just as I’ve come to expect from Weber, brilliantly. It’s a fantastic little unit that packs quite a punch. The cooking area is decently sized, the heat control and distribution is bang on and you’d still have some change from $200. In fact, I’d go as far as saying if I wanted a gas grill for under $200, this one would be my pick, without a doubt.

Over the past 3 years I have probable used my Weber 369002 Q200 about 750 times and it has never failed, not even once. It does look a little used now, but it still runs like it’s brand new. I’m actually quite amazed how well it’s still going considering how often I use it! Paraphrased for size – Read original here
